The
Pinto Art Museum is one of the best places to see contemporary Philippine Art.
This museum is hanging on a mountain that provides the most excellent view of
Metro Manila. I think it has the best private collection of Filipino paintings,
sculptures, and art installations in Metro Manila if not the Philippines. All
of these collections are placed inside Mediterranean inspired villas with
manicured gardens and spacious rooftops.
I
never thought something like this would exist in Antipolo or even in Metro
Manila. This place is hard to find but well worth the trip. In general, it was
a very relaxing experience. I think this should be part of an itinerary of any
art loving tourist. This is a great place to renew the mind and
appreciate all kinds of art. If you love art or at least some
interest in it you will really love the collections. Each corner is pure beauty
and photogenic. I think you cannot get a bad picture here because
everything is artsy and in our generation what we call “instagrammable”. It’s a
great way to spend your day. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle
of the city and just want to relax and see a different side of Manila then
Pinto Art Museum will be the perfect place for you.

How to get there?
1. COMMUTE: From
Araneta- Cubao MRT Station, take an FX with a signboard of Antipolo which is
located beside Araneta Center. Tell the FX driver to drop you off to Ynares
Center. When you reach Ynares Center take a tricycle to Pinto Art Museum.
2. DRIVE: From
Katipunan turn right to Marcos Highway, then right to Sumulong.
When you reach Ynares Center, take a right to a hills (before Jollibee)
and follow the road to Grand Heights.
