It was my first time to be in San Francisco, I was just here
for 23 hours. I got this free trip via ANA airways. This is just a travel
hacking tip that I must share to you. I used multi cities option in
their website and got a 1hour free trip to San Francisco and a 4 day layover in
Tokyo without spending extra bucks on my ticket.
I realized that I will only have 23 hours in this wonderful
city. What I did was,I contacted my relative living there. They fetched me at
the airport and did a mini tour of the city. At our first stop we ate tepanyaki
at Benihana near the airport. Benihana is one of America’s favorite Japanese
Restaurants. After that we went to Silicon Valley, to go to Google Office. You
can actually go there just outside to take pictures. But if you want to take a
tour you need to reserve or know someone who works at the best office in the
world. Then we went to the infamous Golden Gate Bridge. This was an awesome
experience. After that we went to Fisherman’s Wharf where we ate some
clam chowder while experiencing the cold weather. Then we went to Union Square
and shopped at Ross. After that we ate dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and saw
the view of the city of San Francisco. We then went to our hotel and check in.
We woke up early to experience the cable car and after that saw the Coit Tower.
After that we went to Lombard Street and experienced the zigzag road. And
lastly our trip would not be complete if we didn’t eat breakfast at Ghirardelli
Square.
My San Francisco Layover experience was definitely one for the books. This city has touched my heart way more than you can imagine. I just wish that I could have stayed longer to see more sights. But my trip was so good that I’m so thankful to the people who made this trip special which are my relatives, Tito Rolly and Tita Ocean. If it weren’t for them I would not have had the full blown San Francisco Experience.
