Top 10 Things You Must Do When You're in Boracay

Even though Boracay has been criticized for being overcrowded and being highly commercialized, I will never get tired of going back to this wonderful Island.  I have been to a lot of beaches in the Philippines, Asia and Europe.  I am very proud to say that Boracay still has the finest white Sand and most beautiful beach in the World. I am very proud that it's located in my country.

 Sometimes I am quite thankful of Boracay’s highly commercialism because of that you get to have more choices of hotels, hostels, restaurants to choose from. There are also more available flights going to and from Kalibo and Caticlan that  also offer so many promo fares.  So I decided to create my top 7 Things Must Things to do when you’re in Boracay that every traveler must consider when going to this wonderful island.
1.       Swimming and Sunbathing at the White Sand Beach

Boracay is famous for its 5 Kilometer long stretch of fine and powdery white sand. By day you can go swimming, sunbathing,  and unwind at the beach and by night the island becomes a party zone . It’s one of the only beaches where I just want to walk around with my bare feet because there are no seaweed and rocky particles at the beach. It’s like walking along baby powder  That's the thing that I love about Boracay, it's like you’re in paradise.

Tips: Try Swimming in Station 1 near Discovery Shores since the beach is cleaner and there are fewer people roaming around this area.
2.       Island Hopping

Your trip would not be complete without the island hopping experience.  The fun thing about this is that you will also see undeveloped beaches and coral reefs outside Boracay. This adventure will take you up to 3 to 4 hours with stopover at several beaches where you can go have lunch, swim and do snorkeling.
Price:
Small Boat (5 persons)= P1,500;
Medium Boat (10 persons) =P2,500;

Watersports in Boracay are quite expensive. Some of these watersports like Para Sailing and Banana boat are not worth it because once you have tried it you will not  do it anymore.
The only thing that I suggest is  Paraw Sailing which is truly worth your money. Since you get to chill around while sailing and see Boracay’s Sunset

This is a trademark for everyone who goes to Boracay. Henna, is a non-permanent tattoo placed in one’s body. It may last from 1 to 2 weeks. You can choose different types of drawings to be placed in your body. Just be careful, some people have an allergic reaction to the ink, so you should not scratch it when it becomes itchy or else it will have an irritation.  Tourists usually place their henna at back or their shoulders, or hips, or even arms; it’s up to you where you put it.  Remember to have fun in picking designs.
